First let’s start with some hard to hear real talk: Only a small percentage “make it” into paid professional sporting contracts. For example, only 1.2% of NCAA basketball players make it to the NBA.
REACHING the big $ will demand ALOT from you. Requiring you to choose (sacrifice) other pursuits young people enjoy and to hold yourself accountable every step of the way. You will be navigating repeated rounds of selection, dealing with contract negotiations, injuries and setbacks, challenging sporting relationships and even moving away from home.
